Blogger in Thailand

How lovely! :)

Almost over

Our wonderful week in Bangkok is coming to an end. We're flying back to Hyderabad tomorrow and tonight we're eating gourmet cake, drinking Thai beer, and munching on Hanami Prawn Crackers.

By the way, our luggage did show up! We were so happy about that!!!
Apparently it went to Hong Kong before it was routed back to Bangkok so now my suitcase has traveled to a place I dream about visiting - hopefully soon.

Reporting from Thailand

Just a moment ago we arrived to Bangkok, Thailand. What a treat!
The hotel we're staying in is A-MA-ZING. We have a view to die for, and it's in a very centric area so we have all these shopping areas to go to - which is specially important now since the idiots at the Hyderabad airport lost our only piece of luggage and we have zero clothes :S

Anyway, I better focus on the positives like my upcoming anniversary with N (8 years, baby!) and the fact that we're in Asia - OMG, seriously, ASIA, it's a dream come true.

Cinco Minutos

arropaba tu duelo
el calor de una clámide.

Y nos dijiste: "permítanme,
voy a quedarme cinco minutos,
cinco minutos, los que me quedan,
y olvido el luto,
cinco minutos,
cinco y no más".
Y esos minutos tomaron tequila,
cantando, riendo, llorando
a la luna de Tepoztlan.
Y los relojes huyeron del tiempo
cuando alguien te dijo: "Señora,
las diosas nunca se van".
Y despertaron al amanecer
perdidos arrojos
en tus negros ojos
heridos por el dolor.
Cuando dijiste: "amar no es perder",
Sam Peckinpah, arriba,
brindó con un "viva,
Señora, ¡por el amor!"

Y nos dijiste: permítanme...
Knock, knock, knock, knockin'
on Heaven's door...

Feelin' stupid

Went shopping today to a jewelry store.
Found a necklace I liked; the price was overblown so I started bargaining.
My bargaining skills are poor and I got carried away and ended up paying more than I should have.

It wasn't a significant amount of money, but still I feel terribly stupid. :(
